I wrote a promotional piece that was published in today’s The Vancouver Sun and The Province. It was fun to do real “research” on the hiking trails, away from my computer. I enjoyed the experience so much that I bought a gondola pass. Here’s the article:
I’m sitting on an enormous granite outcropping with epic views of Howe Sound and the Squamish Valley. Try to go on a weekday. It is getting very busy on the weekends. Let me know if you’d like any specific info about the hikes. The article was written for a general audience with the intent of showing that there is a hike for everyone.
If you have time/interest I’d love to meet you for a coffee. We’re in Horseshoe Bay.

Oh so this is what Don was talking about last week – “Lets drive to Squamish and go hiking!” We didn’t yet, but no doubt we will sometime soon since we’re in Van thru the end of Aug except for the first 3 weeks of July. Off now to read your article.
